Oktoberfest Day 2

The morning was rough, real rough, so we took the opportunity to sleep in.
We headed out to Oktoberfest at 3pm and sampled some of the local cuisine. It was scary, but interesting. They sell every type of meat including fish on a stick. Check out the pic.

We decided to check out a new beer tent, so we went to the Weisbier tent. This beer was .5 liters (smaller than the other tent beers and was a much better beer with a higher percentage of alcohol. Apparently this tent was a local favorite. We squeezed in with some Italians and local Germans. We made friends fast and before you know it we were dancing on the tables. The Germans and Italians argued about soccer for a while as well. Apparently there’s a player from Italy that now plays for the German team. And when I say they argued about this for a while, I mean hours.

Soon we moved to another tent where we met even more Italians…..we became fast friends and again I invited people to visit in Seattle….hahah.

At the end of the night Peter and I got into an argument about who could walk out of Oktoberfest with the beer stein…..neither of us made it. But we got into a heated discussion about it.
