The weather: just check here, its the same.
The people: extremely friendly.
The streets: Quite awkward, all the signs are either non-existent or they're on buildings in very inconspicuous places.
Lesson #1 learned: Try and book your hostel in advance, that way you wont have to walk across the city to another one because the first one is booked.
and now what you've all waited for...

also, the weather is not the only thing Dublin has in common with Seattle, their "ducks" are blue, and called "vikings"

finally, a WTF picture... (Bathroom: Dublin Castle)

I'm not surprised at your WTF photo. Since Elisabeth was a toddler, she had to visit every bathroom she encountered on a trip. If you get to Zurich, check out the bathroom at the McDonalds. Years ago, I flushed the toilet in the men's room and a device came out, circled the seat while cleaning it, and returned to the interior of the commode. Of course, when I returned and reported on my trip, the only thing that interested Elisabeth was the 'cuckoo clock toilet'.
It sounds as if you are having a terrific time. Don't drink too much beer - you don't want to have Elisabeth sneezing all over everyone - and don't let her get into anymore fights (ref. her plane report). That Irish temper of hers is a tad volitile.
Keep up the good reporting and continue to have fun. This is a fantastic once in a lifetime experience for both of you. Everyone over here wishes they could be with you.

You two and your bathroom fetishes.
What no beer tap?
