Our trip starts in just a short 14 days and we are sooo exicted. We got our rail passes, decided to go for the unlimited pass for 2 months version. The biggest decision here was whether or not we wanted to have to "schedule" our travel days and try and figure out the best way to use them. It just seemed easier to get the unlimited version instead of the 14 days, this way if we go somewhere we were planning on staying a couple of days, and it turns out its not worthy of that much time, we can just move on, instead of worrying if we wasted a travel day...etc...
Eli and I have been "attempting" to learn Spanish, but it seems the last month of spanish in your car cds have not really taken us that far. We turned on Univision yesterday to see how much we could understand of the Spanish soap operas, we didn't do so good... only really knowing 10-15% of what they were saying. We did realize however, that these shows are about 10x worst than their american cousins. Anyways, we're gonna keep at it, determined to be fluent in other language.
